The São Paulo Symphony String Quartet premieres Variations and Fugue on the Expeditionary Song in Italy, next week. The work was originally commissioned in 2019 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Brazilian campaign in Italy during the Second World War. The tour was postponed to 2021 due to the Covid pandemics.
The concerts will take place in the following dates:
